1 Week in Northern Vietnam

Arrival in Noi Bai airport with flight, you will be picked up and then transferred to the hotel in the city center. The check-in is available at 2pm. The day is free for your own exploration and shopping. Overnight at hotel.

You will be picked up at the hotel at 8:00am. Starting the day trip will be a visit of the Ho Chi Minh Complex, which compromises Ho Chi Minh’s mausoleum (closed on Mondays & Fridays), his former stilt-house residence, the Presidential Palace and Ho Chi Minh Museum. We will then visit the Temple of Literature, which served as the first Royal National University in Vietnam.

In the afternoon, we will visit the Museum of Ethnology (closed on Mondays, the alternative being the History Museum), which offers informative and well-documented displays of the country’s 54 ethnic groups. Then back to the Old Quarter for a 1.5-hour walking tour, then you will have a deeper insight of local daily life. We then head to Ngoc Son Temple on a tiny island in the middle of Hoan Kiem Lake.

Then transfer to the station for the night train to Sapa, private cabins for you.

On arrival, you will have time to take a bath and have breakfast. After that, descending into the Muong Hoa Valley, you will reach the picturesque Lao Chai village home to the Black H'mong ethnic minority and Ta Van village inhabited by Dzay. Enjoy stunning views of rice terraces curving around the hillside, winding rivers and streams glistening in the sunshine. Then we visit Cat Cat village.

After breakfast, we will be transferred to a cable car station where we will have 25 minutes to travel to Fanxipan Mountain, considered the most beautiful landscape of Vietnam. Reach the altitude of 2800 meters, you have a good time to see the view and take photos, visit pagoda the spiritual destinations and trek up to 600 steps you will reach the peak of Fansipan - the Roof of Indochina. (Spend about 1,5 hours hiking and taking photos).

Then we take a sharing limousine back to Hanoi. Overnite in Hanoi.

In the morning, our car and guide will pick you up to travel to Hoa Lu – the former capital of Vietnam, about a two-hour drive from Hanoi. After lunch at a local restaurant, you will visit Tam Coc (three caves), a peaceful valley among limestone ‘karst’ hills. After the boat trip in Tam Coc, for the rest of the day, visit Mua Caves and learn about its exciting stories told by our guide. Continue to climb 500 stone steps, you are on the top of the mountain where you can enjoy a stunning panoramic view of the countryside and wonderful Ngo Dong River.. Overnight in hotel in Tam Coc.

• After breakfast, transfer to Ha Long bay.
• 12:00 – 12:30: Check-in and enjoy Welcome drink, meet the crew to get a brief introduction about cruise and safety guidelines.
• 13:00: Enjoy Vietnamese seafood and vegetarian lunch
• Continue cruising through Duck Islet, Thumb islet and Gia Luan Harbor. Discover lagoon natural area, drop anchor for swimming or sunbathe
• 15:45: Kayaking, then swim or just sunbathe on our cruise. Heading back toward the sleeping area.
• 18.00: Come back to our La Casta Cruise and participate in our Sunset party. 
• 19:00: Time for dinner enjoying special seafood and Vietnamese typical food on the cruise.
• 21:00: Evening entertainments: cards game, squid fishing, relaxing with massage service and overnight on the La Casta Cruise.

• 7:00-7:45: Have breakfast. Morning view of bay’s landscape with a cup of tea or coffee.
• 08:00: Mingling yourself in the stunning views of the Bay and it’s dramatic limestone islets. visit the famous Frog Pond. Here you can freely kayak and explore the landscape, or swim...
• 09:15: Back to your cabin, relax, and check all the luggage carefully before leaving.
• 9:30: Check-out from the private cabin and enjoy a fantastic cruise on the bay for room service. Complete the check-out procedure and enjoy your last lunch at the La Casta cruise.
• 11:30: La Casta Cruise are landing Tuan Chau Harbor, tourist say goodbye to sailors and finish the cruise.
• 12:00 – 12:30: Return to Hanoi by the luxury limousine.
• 15:00 – 15:30: Arrive in Hanoi.
• Overnight in Hanoi.

After breakfast, at 09h00, you will transfer to the airport for the departure flight back home.
