Laos Grand Tour

Welcome to Luang Prabang. On arrival at the airport, tour guide welcomes you in person and take you to hotel to check in.

Wake up early and prepare to join the most sacred tradition of Laos, the daily morning alms giving. Then, we will visit the temporary morning market near the former Royal Palace.  After breakfast, we will visit the city’s oldest temple of Wat Sene. After that, we embark on the leisurely cruise upstream on the Mekong River, before reaching the mysterious Pak Ou Caves. En route, you will stop at Ban Muang Keo, a well-known village for its traditional Lao rice whisky distilling. On the way back to Luang Prabang, we visit the magnificent Wat Xiengthong a superb piece of Lao temple architecture. Our last stop today is the Traditional Art and Ethnology Center. After tour, you come back to hotel and enjoy your free time.

After breakfast at the hotel, tour guide and driver pick up you at lobby at 8:30 am then transfer to Buffalo Dairy Farm. After visit the farm, we continue to the beautiful Kuang Si waterfalls which is the biggest in the Luang Prabang. We will also take a short visit to the Bear Rescue Center. In the late afternoon, we climb up to the top of Mount Phousi. Our last stop is Night Market. After tour, you will come back to hotel to relax.  

After breakfast at hotel, you will start your visit to Royal Palace Museum, which hosts a range of interesting artifacts. Our next stop is Wat Mai, a temple renowned for its golden bas-relief, which is one of the most beautiful temples in town. After visit we will transfer to the train station for next destination to Vang Vieng. Upon arrival, transfer to visit the cave of Tham Jang.

After, we will drive to Khmu Village, 10km north of Vang Vieng. You will receive training from experienced guides and we will start to paddle down the Nam Song river. Back to hotel at late afternoon.

Early breakfast at the hotel, then transfer to the train station for a short traveling to Vientiane. Upon arrival, we will explore the major sights of the capital; including the oldest Wat Sisaket. On the way to Lao’s national icon, the famous and sacred structure of That Luang Stupa, we stop enroute to take some pictures of the imposing Patuxay Monument. After tour, we will come back to hotel to relax.

Have breakfast at your hotel. Free time to explore Vientiane until driver picks up you at lobby then take you to the airport for your departure flight.
